Who We Are

AMIRA & CO was founded in 2013 by Amira elAdawi, a former senior principal at Booz & Co, an external advisor to Bain & Co.

AMIRA & CO (previously Global Perspectives) was created based on the belief that there is a better model for management consulting to deliver enduring value to clients. We are a boutique global management consulting firm led by senior leaders with deep experience from Big 5 firms as well as hands-on operational roles. We work exclusively on M&A integrations and enterprise optimization.

The firm has worked with a wide range of clients including Fortune-100 & FTSE-100 companies, private equity investors, and governments on large complex, high-value transactions across a range of industry sectors including hospitality, tourism, consumer products, education, agriculture & horticulture, and pharmaceutical retail.

Our Mission

To deliver transformational change during post M&A integration and enterprise optimization, through a next generation model of management consulting, predicated on the importance of co-creation for long-term success.

Our Guiding Principles

We only work with clients we’re passionate about

We are relentlessly focused on client success – whatever it takes

We believe co-creation with clients leads to superior, more enduring results

We become an integral part of our client teams, not ‘consultants’ dictating from the outside-in

We believe clients get vastly better insights when senior partners work onsite full-time

How We Work

We have established a track-record of success by partnering with our clients to co-create transformational change, empowering internal teams to play an integral role and own their future success. During integrations the firm applies a proprietary methodology that addresses comprehensive levers of deal success, leading to a more rigorous process and better results. This approach helps ensure that goals are met and exceeded without risking operating culture and team motivation.

Why We Are Different

One of AMIRA & CO’s key differentiators is how we partner with CEOs and leadership teams at a strategic level to define their new operating framework, while working with the entire organization to develop the operating plans with those who will own it once the engagement ends. This approach allows us to tactically embed as part of the organization, augmenting skills gaps and serving as connective tissue across the enterprise.

We don’t come in as outsiders and dictate solutions. Instead, we actively guide your team to find the right answer themselves. We use best practices and industry expertise to show your team how to analyse data and interpret results, and then we support them in solving the problems and eliminating the roadblocks that arise during implementation. Most importantly, we coach them to work together in a whole new collaborative way that increases their job satisfaction as well as their productivity as a group.

We apply a distinct model to all of our engagements: One client at a time and a resident senior partner always on-site, so the C-suite and their teams have full-time access to an independent, unbiased confidante who is available at all times. We also know you have a business to run while we are doing our work, so employees can continue to do their day jobs while playing an active role in building the future of the business. Importantly, we teach your team to fish, transferring knowhow to them and coaching them to work together more effectively. Perhaps most importantly, what we co-create together is your plan, so that it endures after we leave. And lastly, our nimble approach delivers better results, with less billable hours. Our senior-led stewardship enables us to drive change through your team, not ours.

We won’t be your “consultants”, we’ll be an integral part of your team

We provide the right expertise when and where you need it

Our team, comprised of a select group of senior, experienced operators, brings decades of success in their respective disciplines. Based upon the needs of each client, we deploy just the right personnel to support your business: from a single senior partner onsite, to a selection of functional experts who can fill in any talent gaps you may have in your team— whether it’s experts in communication, culture and behaviour, finance, or a more specialised sub-segment of your operations.
